It is a chastening fact that 85% of those promoted to management positions have no official management training in early years and playwork.
Most are excellent practitioners, who then progress to becoming more senior in their settings, but many report that they do not feel adequately equipped to ‘do the job’ effectively.
It’s clear there’s a need for childcare leadership training, mentoring and coaching.
That’s why I’m here to help!
I have had the pleasure of working in and around early years for the last 40 years. I have been involved in writing and delivering extensive training, started and ran a successful training business, worked with many local authorities and coached many managers.
I am passionate about quality outcomes for children. Through my many years of experience, I have become very aware that if you do not have motivated committed staff working in early years, we cannot hope to achieve our ambition of the best quality care for the children.
Leadership and management have such a vital role here, which is why I now specialise in training around all the subjects that can help you to achieve these goals.
I’ve worked with over 50 organisations, many of whom keep asking me to come back! My workshops are designed to be very informative, great fun, and most importantly to enable those attending to change their practice.
