Mentoring & supportGet the support you need to become a confident childcare leader
Although the skills needed for effective coaching and mentoring are very similar, one of the main differences between them is that with coaching you do not have to be an expert in your coachee’s field, whereas in mentoring you do need a strong working knowledge of the subject.
I don’t pretend to know how to manage a nursery as I have never done so, but I have founded a division of a successful business (Crechendo Training). During my nine years there I was actively involved with recruiting, developing and running the business.
Because of this, I work very effectively alongside new leaders/managers and helped them meet the very demanding challenges of learning how to lead effectively.
I am a critical friend, sounding board and most of all a shoulder to lean on when needed.
Maybe you are new to leadership yourself? Are you an experienced manager who could do with that little extra support? Are you concerned about your staff’s motivation levels, does there seem to be underlying problems and tensions?
Please feel free to give me a call or get in touch to find out more about my services. I would be delighted to come and meet you to see if I could offer any assistance that would be appropriate for you.
Individuals & organisations
As well as providing mentoring and support to individuals, I am also employed by organisations such as local councils and nursery chains to provide services to their managers and aspiring leaders.
